F.A.Q.
How do I install Lesson Pop applications?
You can purchase Computer applications in our shop. LessonPops work with PC or Mac computers, and are a self-contained file that works with the Free LessonPop Viewer, which you need to download and install first. This will require authentication and installation of a safe Adobe Air Application. This is the only time you will need to authenticate or “install” on your computer, after that each individual purchased app will automatically place itself inside the viewer and be available to you instantly.
You will complete a purchase in our shop, receive an email with the link to the file and your serial #, and follow the easy instructions to download and open the file. You should first view it yourself, read all of the prompts, and decide when and how to best use the application- at home, projected for whole-class instruction, or perhaps at a computer station for a practice or “center” type activity.
How do I use Lesson Pop applications?
LessonPops are special, short, skill & strategy based snippets of information for you to use as desired to fill gaps in learning, and enhance your instructional delivery and student practice. For example, if some of your students are “stuck” on use of commas, you can download our Writing with commas app (example) and use it for whole class projection as a review, then put it on a center computer for practice. Our apps are designed for YOU to choose when and how to use them.
Do Lesson Pop applications work on an iPods or iPads?
We are in development on our iPod apps at this time. We will be providing companion apps at the iTunes store, under the developer name LessonPops. Sign up for our Newsletter to be notified when LessonPop apps become available from Apple! Applications purchased in the shop at LessonPops are for your computer only. iPod apps must be downloaded from the iTunes store. They are two separate types of products.
